Home Remedies for Acne Problems

Acne Treatment in the Philippines

Seeing all that celebrities, models and movie stars that has the skin that is so bright and flawless makes some of us think, how do they maintain such beautiful skin? How come that they don’t have pimples? Does it come naturally? Are they seeing personal dermatologist that offers acne treatment in the Philippines? Do they truly have beautiful skin or it is just part of camera tricks? Or they just have professional make-up artists that do some magic to hide those skin patches?
We can say that those are possibilities. As one of the ordinary people that don’t have the luxury of having that much money to treat skin problems like pimples and acne, here are some home remedies for it that might surprise you.

1. Lemon

Lemons are rich in vitamin C that is good for any skin types and citric acid which is proven as natural acne bacteria buster. Gently rubbing an open side of a sliced lemon on the infected part will give a stinging feeling, meaning it is effectively working. After a session, wash your face with water to remove lemon residue and do not exposing yourself to the sun for about a day to avoid sun damage or might as well apply sunblock afterwards.

2. Baking Soda

I have read some articles about the wonders of baking soda as an acne bacterial buster and they differ in the ways on how it must be applied. I might agree half to one, but I must agree half to the other. So let me have a summary of it to somehow have it my own way. :)

Mix evenly part of water and baking soda to create a cream-like paste. It is now up on you whether you want to apply it fully to your face or apply it only to the part that is acne infected. Baking soda can be anti-bacterial, antiseptic and exfoliant all in one, so it does almost all the needed treatment for acne problems.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar

Aside from having a positive effect on weight loss and the flow of digestion, apple cider vinegar is also considered as one of the best remedies for acne problems. It acts as astringent like lemons do and alkaline that balance the pH in your skin and prevent acne bacteria from increasing.

With this, you need to add ¾ part water to ¼ part apple cider vinegar. Soak a ball of cotton and apply it gently to the acne infected part. Leave it for at least 15 minutes and wash it with water afterwards.

4. Papaya

We all know that papaya is an indispensable ingredient of whitening and beauty products. Why? Because naturally, it is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C and lycopene which are all good for skin health. But we don’t have to reach out for beauty soaps and lotions to get those benefits, fresh papaya fruit will do the magic itself.

Simply mash papaya meat until it becomes firm and consistent enough to be rubbed and applied to your skin. Wait until at least 20 minutes and then wash it with warm water after. Moisturizer is an additional option if your skin tends to dry up with the treatment.

For me, the four that I’ve mentioned above is the best four of home remedies for acne problems. The other honorable mentions are toothpaste ointment, oatmeal scrub, and potato slice. For more information on skin care and treatments, please visit www.mskinwellness.com.
